Dish of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. Tulips, carnations and leaves grow from a low mound in blue, yellow, ochre, brown and turquoise green. Three stilt marks on the front (8 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: White. A shiny lead-glaze of a strong greenish tint, possibly over a pale slip, covers the entire back. The foot-rim has been wiped entirely clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape B without groove near rim which is more pronounced and everted. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
