The Temptation of Adam and Eve in blue, green, red and yellow. Blue dashes and blue and yellow lines at the rim. Three stilt marks on the front (8.5 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Shiny white on the front. A shiny greyish tin-glaze which has dribbled and pooled with a splattering of blue pigment dots covers almost the entire back. The foot-rim has been wiped almost entirely clean of glaze. Remains of three stilt marks on the very edge of the foot-rim (9 cms point to point). Back and front finely crazed.
Shape: Shape B with steeper flange. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
