Candlestick of fritware, with a saucer-shaped tray, painted in cobalt blue under a clear glaze. A row of dots and a band of leaf tips surrounded neck. There is a bulbous area above the tapering foot. The inner rim band has a reserve-painted zigzag line. In the centre a plain area rings a band of alternating striped panels and thick dividers at the foot of the shaft. Six epsilon clouds are painting on the outside. The base is flat and unglazed with a slight recess in the centre and no mark.
