1. A couple of the Lambadi caste; the man holding a nargila and carrying over his shoulder a bag with decorative strap and tassels; the woman wearing a long choli, a white embroidered veil, a skirt and much heavy jewellery.
2.A basket-maker and his wife; the man, a wrap over his shoulder, resting his right hand on a basket; the woman, in a striped sari, carrying a baby and some baskets.
3. A tank-digger and his wife; the man, a wrap over his shoulder, holding a cane and a mattock; the woman carrying a baby and a basket.
