Plate of fritware, octagonal, painted in cobalt blue under a clear glaze. On the inside, three levels of landscape with rocks, huts, a large spot and a central double tree, enclosed by a frame of double line, a zigzag band runs round the flange. On the outside, four S-stems with a quartered flower alternate with strangely drawn stars. The base is circular with an imitation Chinese "tassel" mark in blue.
