This design is closely connected with E.424-1951. It has many points of correspondence with the final design, as published in Vitruvius Britannicus, Vol 1, Pl 58, but the central dome and lateral turrets are missing, the Corinthian order is used instead of the Doric, and the entrance was afterwards re-designed.
