Object history
The inscription on the drawing of Diaghilev 98) allows us to date the whole sketch-book around 1916, when Diaghilev, Massine and Larionov were working on the production of Kikimora at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San Sebastian.
Purchased from the artist in 1961.
