Painted design for the lid of a tin box, from a set of 47 including designs for cigarette tins, biscuit tins, and a variety of decorative tins. Each design is in housed an individual sleeve of coloured paper.

Two designs on the same sheet of paper (E.1657 & 1658-1991); both designs are for the 'World Jamboree', 1929. Both designs show a scout signaling in semaphore, with a cluster of triangular tents and hills behind them. E.1657-1991 shows the scout signaling 'S', with the tents to their left, two figures in the further distance in the right and a blank circle in the upper right hand corner of the design. E.1658-1991 shows the scout holding one flag over their right hand shoulder, with tents to the lower right, with a blank oval in the upper right hand corner of the design.
