The Victoria and Albert Museum has the largest collection of psychedelic posters among national museums in the UK, with examples both from America and Europe. This poster was issued by the Family Dog Collective, who ran one of the two leading rock venues in America in the 1960s and belongs to a set that was designed by many of the best poster artists of the period, with particularly innovative lettering and psychedelic imagery.
