The posters for the launch fo the fruit drink Batik, in 1996, introduced a new concept of advertising. Featuring fruit crates, with a bottle of Batik nestling in between a selection of citrus fruits, the posters were pasted up in selected sites at which an infra red mechanism released a fruity aroma as people passed by. The image, along with the aroma, were devised to match Del Monte's promotion of Batik as 'Real Fruit Refreshment'.
