Production | The Diana was a cheap 'disposable' camera with a plastic lens. The poor qualities of the lens are visible in the 'fall off' and pin cushioning effect seen on this print. Such 'deficiencies' were particularly prized for a period in the 1970s and were used as methods of drawing attention to the mediated nature of a medium usually considered to have highly immediate qualities. |
