Both sides of the cover are grey: The front is lettered 'JOY DIVISION 1977-1980' in white and 'Substance' in lime-green. The reverse is lettered in small white text by the bottom edge with the tracklisting and 'A Factory Record c Factory Communications Limited and with a barcode by the top edge.
