Place of origin |
Designs for two lancet windows depicting a scene from the life of St. Giles. They depict the moment from the story where King Flavius and his huntsman are about to mistakenly shoot an arrow into St. Giles rather than the hind they were aiming for. The right panel depicts two figures in a forest scene; a crowned figure and an archer with hunting dogs. The panel on the left illustrates St. Giles, also set in a forest scene, holding his left palm towards the king and his huntsman whilst holding the hind in his right arm.
