Object history | In 1969 this LP was recorded under the title 'Get Back!': the title signifying the Beatles' return to the simpler music of their early days. A similar sentiment governed the design of the record cover on its eventual release in 1973: the backcover is a reprint of the photograph used on the 1963 cover for 'Please Please Me' (see E.1810-1990), while the front cover shows the group posing in the same setting and position but ten years later. |
Production | This is a 1988 reprint of the original 1973 design. |
