Teenage girl's evening dress of emerald green nylon chiffon with a bodice lining and underskirt of sea green tricel. The dress is sleeveless, with a scoop neck which is slightly lower at the back, and the short gathered skirt is attached to the bodice beneath a line of self piping. The garment fastens at the back of the bodice and upper skirt with a zip, and at the back of the neck with a hook and stitched loop.

Object history
Worn by the donor, Caroline Georgina Goodfellow (born 02/02/1946) in 1962 for the High School Graduation of one of her group of friends at school, Bruce Branson (she was his partner for the evening). The dress was bought for Caroline by her parents, probably from the Hudson Bay Company Store in Edmonton, Alberta.
