This Christmas card is one of a group made by Queen Elizabeth II's couturier Norman Hartnell and sent to Bob, a friend of the donor, over a period of twenty years. Richly beaded and jewelled, the cards reflect the elaborate ornamentation that was a feature of Hartnell's dress designs.
