Place of origin |
Sleeve for a 12-inch long-playing record of Colour By Numbers by Culture Club. The design features photographs of the band members. Garrett combines the photogenic androgyny of lead singer Boy George and conventional ‘pin-up’ characteristics of group members with pastel coloured curvelinear forms against a dark globe to create a bust design of subtle, rotating undercurrents.
The sleeve proof carries the colours red gold and green on the female, male and asexual symbols in a response to echo the rasterfarian colours featured in the song Karma Chameleon.
Lettered with date, name of group, titles and credits.
