Object history | The verso of the sleeve features a silhouette of artist and singer Yoko Ono (b.1933) who is seated cross-legged. She is the composer of 'Walking on This Ice'. This image is imitated on the front with a portrait of Jo Dunne (one of the band members) seated in the same way. She is show reading a copy of Yoko Ono's book Grapefruit. The overall design is a deliberate imitation of a so-called 'Japanese Import' recording packaged in Japan and shipped to the West as a relatively expensive collector's item. |
