Pure Smirnoff (Zebra shoes)

Poster
1995 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

The 'through the bottle' campaign for Smirnoff was launched in early 1993 and forty different versions were issued, three quarters of which were used globally. The success of the advertising campaign lies largely in the flexibility of this simple concept, establishing the brand as a witty, stylish drink with a subtle edge to it. The 'Zebra Shoes' poster was in 'glam disco' 1970s-revivalist style.
