Object history | Part of two tea bowls and saucers 414:789/ to C-1885 (Sch. I 787 to C). The figures and the monumental fountain are from a painting The Fountainafter Jean-Antoine Watteau (Wallace Collection No. P395) in The Wallace Collection, London, and of which an engraving was made by G. Scotin. Acquired as Liverpool porcelain These pieces were purchased by Lady Charlotte Schreiber from Wareham, London, for £2 10 shillings in February 1872 |
