Plate, of hard-paste porcelain painted in enamels and gilded; the rim has a gilded lobed edge and is decorated with two gilded horizontal bands connected by two intertwined ribbons coloured blue and purple in imitation of silk, in the interspaces of which are gilded rosettes; from the inner gilded line hang festoons of flowers, and a bouquet and detached sprays are scattered over the centre of the dish; the base is strengthened beneath by a ring in relief
