Woven silk and metal thread. Brocaded with metal thread.
A length of heavy fabric woven with dark red warp and dark red weft and dark purple weft. The botehs are outlined and detailed with the dark weft and are woven with brocaded silver threads. There are leaves at the base of each boteh, their outer edge is formed by small segments and there is a flowering stem in their centre.
Metal threads: [1] gold strip close s-wound on a yellow silk core; [2] silver strip close s-wound on a white silk core.
Along the lower end is a plain dark red satin band with three lines of dark silk blocks alternating with metal thread blocks marking the end of a loom piece.
