A white hard-paste porcelain elongated figure of a Chinese man wearing flowing robes, made by the Du Paquier porcelain factory, Vienna, Austria, ca. 1720.

Tall figure of a man modelled in glazed white hard-paste porcelain in the manner of Chinese figures, his head turned to his left, his arms held crossed before him tucked into the ample folds of his sleeves, an object, possibly a writing tablet, at his waist, wearing long flowing robes and a hat, loosely in Chinese style, set on a scrolled low base.

The front plane of the figure has four holes, possibly to enable the figure to be mounted in some way.
