(under revision) Baby's rectangular swinging cradle of carved and turned mahogany with metal fittings. The rectangular bed has inward sloping sides with deckled edges, and is suspended by chevron-shaped metal fittings between a pair of uprights, each with a transverse foot. The bed has a floor of canvas straps to support a mattress, and metal hoops to carry a fabric hood or drapes.

(original register description) Cradle of mahogany, slung on turned uprights supported on shaped feet. The sides slope inwards, and have waved edges at the top and a small ogee moulding at the base. Strips of canvas form the floor of the cradle, and above it are metal hoops to support a hood of drapery.
