Jar and lid of porcelain, decorated in overglaze polychrome enamels and gilding. The jar is of inverted pear-shaped, painted with a hundred boys at play in a garden beside a building; round the short neck is a border of ruyi sceptre-heads. On the flat-topped lid is a grotesque figure holding an inscribed scroll.
