Object history | The brownish colour is the result of smoke-staining during firing. One of a pair of candlesticks with 414:689-1885 (Sch. I 685) Lady Charlotte Schreiber purchased the pair from Captain Lee's sale, Christie's, for £19 8 shillings 6 pence in June 1873 |
