Dehua ware vase, of creamy-white porcelain, dense and opaque, covered with a transparent glaze possessing a brown iron-stained crackle. It has flattened ovoid body with panels of quatrefoil shape, short incurved neck with slightly expanding circular mouth, and circular base. Decoration incised in the paste within two sunk panels, of prunus and lotus sprays symbolising winter and summer respectively.
