Spoon tray of porcelain, transfer-printed in black enamel, and oblong in shape with six scalloped sides, and printed with L'Amour, representing a gallant on a garden seat beside a lady, whose hand he leans forward to kiss, and another lady stands behind, and in the foreground are a spaniel and a garden roller, and in the background is a fountain with the statue of Neptune in his chariot.

I 649I) This service was assembled by Lady Charlotte Schreiber from pieces she purchased from the Reverend J.C. Jackson, Hackney, for £1 in April 1869, from Davis, London, for £3 15 shillings in 1870, and from Bradbeer, Lowestoft, for £1 16 shillings 6 pence in 1869 |
