S/S 2007 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This ensemble showcases Miuccia Prada's talent for designing full ensembles, from garments to accessories, using luxurious materials and striking colour. Since its founding in 1913, the Italian fashion house Prada has evolved from a luxurious luggage label to an influential and commercially successful ready-to-wear house. Fashion journalist Suzy Menkes wrote of Miuccia Prada in a 2006 article in the International Herald Tribune, 'no other creator has the same ability to distil the essence of what is modern, sampling the cultural heritage, anchoring shifting society and making it all seem relevant'.
