Basin of porcelain painted with enamels and gilded, and the outside is painted with pairs of exotic birds among bushes in three fan-shaped panels and insects in three circular medallions between them, and the panels and medallions are enclosed by gilt borders, from which spring sprays of flowers also in gold, and they are reserved in white on a powdered-blue ground, and the inside on the bottom are butterflies and other insects.
