Jug of soft-paste porcelain, painted in enamels and gilded in the style of Japanese Kakiemon ware. Pear-shaped with a loop handle, projecting lip moulded with a bearded mask, with later silver lip. Decorated on one side are a prunus-tree and chrysanthemums, on the other are other flowering plants, under the lip are two quails, and round the top is a border of close red foliage and gilt flowers.
