The paper is probably of the type known as ‘Cordelova’, first produced by Brown, of Pitt Street, Edinburgh.
Production
Arnsbrae House in Cambus, Scotland, was built by Alfred Waterhouse, RA, FRIBA (1830-1905). This is an used roll of the paper that was hung at Arnsbrae. The paper, which was hung in 1886, was embossed, silvered, painted and then varnished.

The paper is probably of the type known as 'Cordelova', first produced by Brown, of Pitt Street, Edinburgh.
