Flower holder of soft-paste porcelain, painted in underglaze blue and moulded in relief, and in the form of a cornucopia, flat at the back and moulded in front with a landscape in which are cattle and buildings, and floral sprays moulded in relief are at the lower end or painted in blue, and round the top is a border of foliated scrolls in relief above a band of floral and diaper ornament in blue.

Object history
One of a pair of with 414:53/A-1885 (Sch. I 473A). Acquired as Bow porcelain.
The pair was purchased by Lady Charlotte Schreiber from Dalgleish, London, for £3 10 shillings in April 1868
Two sizes of cornucopia are listed in a wholesale price list of predominantly blue-and-white porcelain issued by the Worcester China Warehouse, Aldersgate Street, London, ca. 1755-60, where their price to the trade is given as two shillings three pence and two shillings and six pence a pair respectively.
