Sauce boat of soft-paste porcelain, transfer-printed in black enamel and over-painted with coloured enamels; moulded in low relief, and with a wavy rim, projecting lip, and a scrolled loop handle; on either side are rococo scrolls in relief picked out in crimson, forming panels which are printed with Chinese figure subjects, and on the front is printed a bird perched on a branch, and the foot and inside of the rim are painted with sprays of flowers, and inside on the bottom is printed a boy blowing bubbles among ruins.
