Mug of porcelain, painted with enamels, and barrel-shaped with a band of reeding round the rim and the base, and with a scrolled loop handle, and the front is inscribed with 'A Trifle from LOWESTOFT' in black, surrounded by garlands of foliage painted in red, and on each side is a spray of cornflowers in overglaze blue, red and green in the style of Angoulême sprigs.
