Tomb model of a male figure, a dancer. He is bent and swaying with movement, both hands upraised, head to one side and mouth open. He wears a long robe with cross-over front, and a flat-topped hat. His sleeves are long, covering his hands. He appears to have a pointed beard, and is therefore probably from the northwestern region of the Silk Route. Made of grey earthenware, with his broken arm shows to be red inside (unoxidised iron, which would turn grey in the reduction firing). Traces of red and white pigment delineate his cuffs, robe neck, cap and face.
