Uppermost part of a Candelabrum in porcelain, painted with enamels and gilded, with one remaining branch intact and two broken off, and the knob surmounts the stem from which the branches spring, as well as one remaining nozzle and grease-pan, is decorated with bouquets and garlands of flowers, in panels bordered by gilt rococo scrolls and separated by dark mazarine-blue bands on which are gilt insects, and the three S-shaped branches of which one is entire, are also decorated with gilt rococo scrollwork and lines of dark blue.

The pair was purchased by Lady Charlotte Schreiber from Lazarus, Hamburg, for £1 10 shillings in September 1867; she purchased 'the mounts' from Chance, London, for £3 10 shillings in April 1874
Part of the service given by George III and Queen Charlotte in 1763 to the brother of the queen, Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz
