Lily and Hodge are the artist Yvonne Skargon's (born 1931) two cats; she depicted them in her books of cats. A Japanese Department store, Tokyu, decided to use the name and the illustration for a small shop within their store which sold T-shirts, ceramics, bags, clocks, aprons, wrapping paper, towels and many other items printed with the image.

Lily & Hodge are the artist's two cats which she depicted in her
books of cats. A Japanese Department store, Tokyu, wanted to use
both the name and the illustration for a small shop within their store
which now sells T-shirts, cups, teapots, bags, clocks, aprons,
wrapping paper, towels and many other items printed with this
image.
