British Foot Artillery and French Light Infantry

Toy Soldiers
2001-2004 (manufactured)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

These ten figures are sculpted with accurate representations of British and French military uniforms of the early 19th-century. Dominic Wilcox used model soldiers just like these to make his War Bowls (see B.12-2024). The figures were gently heated inside a wok placed in a custom-built oven until they melted together but were still discernably individual soldiers.
