Provenance: The Royal Pavilion, Brighton, Sussex.

This paper (and papers E.9838-9844-1958 and E.9846-9850-1958, which were probably designed by Robert Jones and produced by Crace & Sons) was intended for rooms on the upper floor of the Pavilion, which included the Duke of York' s and the Duke of Clarence’s bedrooms and the lobbies to them, all on the east side, the King's old bedroom on the south east and the west bedrooms. Since Robert Jones is known to have worked for Crace & Sons only from 1817 until 1823, it is less likely that this wallpaper is by him.
Production
Possibly made ca.1829.
