Sales catalogues by John Hardman & Co.
1860-5

These sales catalogues show how Pugin's design ideas and private commissions were turned into commercial products, which John Hardman & Co. continued to market after Pugin's death. The illustration of 'Articles in the International Exhibition of 1862' includes chalices and other church metalwork in Pugin's style, while the sheet of 'Candlesticks and Lamps etc. for Domestic Use' show how his designs for churches were modified for the home.
