Object history | Accompanied by a paper invite 7.6 x 9.6cm to North-Western Conference The Royal Photographic Society, Presidents Reception and Conversazione, City Art Gallery, Mosley Street, Manchester, Saturday, 3rd May, 1947 7.30 to 10 p.m. Contained in a folder of photographs of the M.A.P.S. Diamon Jubilee Dinner and Dance Saturday March 3rd, 1945. The folder is printed with, M.A.P.S. (Manchester Amateur Photographic Society) Diamond Jubilee Dinner and Dance, Held at Tudor Restaurant, Belle Vue on Saturday, March 3rd, 1945, at 6pm President: K. Chapman F.R.P.S. 1885-1945. List of toasts printed inside the folder. Accompanied by a letter from Pam Roberts Curator of the RPS to Mrs. M.M. Walker on the 30th March 1993. Roberts thanks Mrs. Walker for her donation of the prints of the Diamond Jubilee Dinner and Dance, 1945, via. Mr. Bill Whitaker. |
