  • London Film Productions Ltd. ink copyright stamp/London Film Productions present, "Men Are Not Gods", Directed by Walter Reisch. Shooting a scene from the film at the Alhambra Theatre in London. On the stage is Val Gielgud, who kindly consented to play the part of the manager who rings down the curtain and apologises to the audience for an exciting incident which disrupts the performance of 'Othello'. Gertrude Lawrence and Sebastian Shaw were playing Desdemona and Othello respectively, while Miriam Hopkins who is playing Ann Williams, was seated in the audience. (Stencil no: L.F.P.21/14.)'
