Marks and inscriptions | London Film Productions Ltd. ink copyright stamp/London Film Productions present, "Men Are Not Gods", Directed by Walter Reisch, Miriam Hopkins as Ann Williams, secretary to Mr. Skeates (A. E. Mathews), theatre critic on the 'Daily Post'. It is Ann's falsely reported criticism of the 'Othello' first-night that makes Edmond Davey (Sebastian Shaw), in the name part, famous overnight. Ann, who loses her job for distorting the criticism, goes to see the actor from the gallery, and becomes infatuated with him.
