Colour print booklet to accompany the 12" long-playing record 'Lonely is an Eyesore', a compilation of recordings by 4AD artists, summarising the label's mid-eighties productions, including recordings by Dead Can Dance, Throwing Muses, Cocteau Twins and The Wolfgang Press.
The booklet features a two page-side introduction to each of the groups featured on the record. Each band's entry has a unique design and page layout and all of them include either photographic images or video stills relating to the band. The cover art is an abstract design, suggestive of marked and stained concrete or metal sheeting. The design is repeated on all parts of the compilation set.
