Exhibitions: The Nude: A new Perspective, Victoria & Albert Museum, 1989

Notes: Pioneer was destined to be the first man-made object to leave our solar system. This cosmic greetings card was therefore designed to inform alien intelligence about our galaxy and about human life. It is coloured gold to imitate the protective gold coating on the original. The black marks at each side were the attaching holes on the original.
