This is a silver medal made in the end of 17th century England, and signed "F. K. and P. H. M." The obverse of this medal represents a portrait bust of Marshal Schomberg and the inscription "Fridericus Mareschalcus Schomberg, &c." The reverse shows a warrior in classic garb standing by a tent on which hang the shields of France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, and Ireland, and holding a laurel tree. It also has the legend "Plantavit ubique feracem" and the exergue inscribed "Continuatis triumphis, obdurata in Deum fide, in Hiber. militanti, 1690."
