Object history | Artist Terry Frost was commissioned to design a series of mugs for the opening of the Pier Art Gallery, Orkney in the 1970s. The mugs were smaller than Frost preferred to drink out of himself so he commissioned some more which were bigger (cf. C.39-1995) and which he still uses in his studio today. |
