The design evokes the popular hotel and restaurant entertainments of the period with people dancing, not to a live orchestra but to a radio broadcast or record, which were, according to the sleeve copy, 'Better than an Orchestra'. Hand-written label attached to both sides: 'Overture: The Bat JOH. STRAUSS'.
