Playsuit

Playsuit
2022
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Tongoro is known for its playful aesthetic, utilising bold prints and silhouettes in graphic black and white patterns or neutral colours. One-pieces, such as jumpsuits and playsuits, are a particular staple of the brand, offering a fashionable, total look in the convenient form of one single garment. This 'Jana' playsuit is typical of Tongoro’s style. It is made from satin weave polyester printed in a black and white striped design reminiscent of both a silk moiré pattern and zebra print. The playsuit has a tailored bodice with shoulder cut-outs and large bell sleeves. The A-line shape of the bodice skims over the shorts, giving the impression of two separate pieces.
